We were unable to retrieve the list of drivers for your product. Rpinter didn't seem to be a wrong way to do it, nor a right one. I tossed 3 yellows and 2 magentas before I've used up my first black; get used to using the black ink only option when you can, although then the text doesn't look nearly as good.

If you have a lot of photos, you can zoom out to get a thumbnail view that shows nine images at once. But say you have a computer lying around with images on it. As befitting a photo printer, the D uses a six-color ink system and individual cartridges. A porous paper like HP's Advanced sheet also takes a while to stabilize. A second print gave the same effect, but wasn't an exact duplicate. As the prints came out of the d71660, I noticed a predominant tint in the shadows.
Installing the cartridges wasn't hard but it did seem sloppy. The print head should last the life of the printer, an HP spokesperson told me.
