When printing from a computer, the PM managed to print photos in I need power and lots of it. Typical printing works out to an average Pros Fairly portable, large LCD screen, impressive quality printing.
Aesthetically, little is different from other Epson dedicated photo printers; it has the same bucket-and-handle design of the PictureMate PM that, epsno fully opened, takes up a surprisingly large amount of room.
The only consumable is a single inkjet cartridge that combines three individual colour inkwells and a black pigment. The PM's portability is mainly hampered by one thing — it doesn't come with a battery.
Overall print quality is quite good: Reds are accurate, but there is some evidence of haloing around figures and slight vertical banding in gradients.
But if you are planning on sharing any footage of your latest outdoor adventure with friends and colleagues, you will need more than just hardware. Instead, it uses the same inkjet technology found in standard-sized printers and multifunctions. Epson's PictureMate PM photo printer is a step down from the PictureMate PM epsom terms of portability and speed, but it retains good overall print quality for the price.
This issue was persistent across several test photos and despite attempts to clean and realign the PictureMate PM's print head.

Once a camera is connected or a memory card inserted, the PM will display the available photos in a 4x4 grid that allows users to select which photos to print picturwmate how many of each photo in a single step. However, we did notice a slight banding problem in colour photos. It usually occurred in colour gradients. On the inside, however, the newer model has some noticeable differences. The PictureMate PM offers "speed" and "quality" print modes, with negligible difference in print quality.

Unfortunately, print quality issues mar what is otherwise a decent option. We would have liked to see a cropping feature — particularly given the five-way navigational pad p270 but there is enough functionality for the average user.
