Oh yeah, I remember Yup HD is the best method if Clean Boot. This would probably be easier than the DOS hard drive method.

However you can use any computer with a floppy drive, CD burner and Nero eccs make the boot disk. I have all the pieces, it's just finding a spare hour or so to put it all together.
So how do I use this file to flash it. ECS boards are pretty low quality to start with AND add overclocking to the mix and you are asking for problems.

Do not update the BIOS if the system is running fine. I have the rom file and that's it. I used your tip to create a bootable "flash CD", realizing that I didn't need to re-install the problem board to test the CD, I could gios test it on the board that is currently in the system, as it uses the same BIOS flash file.
